How does it Work?
When purchasing an IdeaDream stock photograph, you purchase the right to use that image for a particular use, such as a website background. IdeaDream owns all copyright in these images, and so grant you permission to use the photo for a particular use.
Factors affecting Stock Photo Price:
- The intended use and how many modes of use (eg: website, business card, advertisement).
- Whether you require an unrestricted licence.
- Whether you allow the photo to be used by someone else for the same use, or a different use.
- Original resolution of the photograph.
The more restrictions you have on an image, the lower the price. All quoted prices on this website are subject to change.
For Example:You purchase a photo of a beach to use in a brochure about holidays. The licence is only for that particular brochure (and method of distribution), and IdeaDream retains the right to sell that photo again for exactly the same use. This will be cheaper than if you request that the image is not sold for another brochure for two years. (So your competitor doesn't publish a similar brochure with the same image.)
